GN Transport is a transport and logistics company which started 1986 in Halmstad, Sweden. Since then GN has been entirely focused on the French market with part and full load shipments.

Having been working with the French market for over 20 years with daily departures from our platforms in Sweden, France and Luxembourg, we built up a complex distribution network which allows us to say that we know France and its culture very well.

By hiring GN you can get a unique and reliable service within transport, logistic and storage - all in one!

We are committed to our customers to be pleased! And are doing this in particular by maintaining a high delivery reliability, providing a personalized service and reducing our environmental impact.

In 2011, we have developed a climate friendly alternative, known as intermodal transport - a combination of road and rail transport, both nationally and internationally.

Carl Nordström has landed in France

Since April this year is Carl Nordström forming part of the GN sales team with the objective to develop our business in France.
After a 6 months trainee program in Sweden, Carl Nordström has now landed in Paris where he represents GN Transport as Business Developer.

Carl has previously worked in areas such as investment banking, multimedia and recruitment.
He lived his first 20 years in the region of Paris, and lived 13 other years in Lund and Stockholm.

"My main task will be to expand GN Transports French customer base. It feels very exciting.
Interestingly, even if imports and exports are in balance, our customer base consist of 95% Swedish companies, against only 5% French, which means that there is a huge potential. Logically, there is the possibility to eventually doubling our customer base."

New security trailer for better safety and working conditions

We just changed 7 more tautliners to this new type of trailer. This security trailer which is similar to a box trailer has the advantage of fully retractable roof and sides. The handling of this trailer is simple and helps the driver to save time during the loading and unloading process. Furthermore, the risk for theft decreases due to the fact that these trailers are completely lockable.

We have at the moment a total of 15 security trailers in our fleet and more will follow.
